When it comes to attaching a rotisserie system (motor, spit and posts) to your pit, you have a couple of options. If you have a metal "bin" type pit (oil, gas tank, pipe, or custom box) you can simply weld the posts to the sides of the pit. This saves some time and bother but limits your options in terms of use flexibility.

If you don't have a metal (or wooden) pit and you need to tap into a stone or other masonry surface to secure your posts, this flange style bracket that will do the job. You will have to prepare your surface for installation by drilling four holes and either setting in anchors (which may provide for an easy removal option) or smaller holes that will accommodate a strong masonry adhesive to the bolts you use (not included).

Once the brackets are in place you can easily attach the posts to them with the included hardware. Now, whenever you need to use the rotisserie, you can bring it our and install it, then remove it when you are done, leaving a small footprint when you use your pit for other things.

This bracket fits most of our posts or any 1 x 2" post that you create and configure as long as the attachment holes (3) line up.

It is made of heavy grade stainless steel. Hardware to attach posts to the bracket are included.

Other kinds of brackets:

• Flush mount (for pits with no lip),
• 4" offset (mostly used when there is need to push the motor assembly far enough back to clear a hood or cover closure)
