SpitJack Smoked Pork & Rib Rub was created to solve two problems:
- How to get smoke flavor into meats if you don't have access to a smoker or aren't allowed to smoke or grill where you live, and
- How to get just the right smoke flavor profile when roasting, grilling or frying beef.
By using naturally smoked ingredients (salt, Paprika, garlic) and natural wood smoke flavoring, we were able to put the smoke in the rub, so you don't need to make smoke. Once you have the smoke on the meat, all you have to do is cook it; and your oven, stove or grill does the rest. Now, we are not saying that your slow-cooked brisket or ribs will taste the same as if you used a high-end smoker and real live-fire wood smoke, but if you don't have the time, don't have access to the right equipment, or the weather is too nasty, its good to have our smoked rub as an option. Great with stews, burgers, sausage and popcorn too.
