This ceramic platter is a perfect substitute for the deflector stone sold by Kamado Joe (which can be a little large if used in the lower position while smoking). This sits on the deflector rack and allows enough extra upwards draft to improve performance and heat control. It also can be used as a pizza or baking stone.

This is an industrial grade ceramic tested to 2400F and can withstand even the top limits of your ceramic cooker.
