We don't sell many propane fuel items at SpitJack. We don't have anything against them, just preference I guess. This item is an exception because of its ease of use. For those of us on a tight schedule, we sometimes don't have time to get a big system ready to cook and still have time to have dinner with the family. Also, for those long oveernight cooks, I don't like to lose sleep worrying if the fuel will run out or I went off temp. This is a set it and forget it unit that will go for 24 hours on a tank of propane.
This is a very well made, durable smoker with a large capacity and great performance. Heavy duty racks and an oversized water pan make smoking and slow cooking is this model almost effortless. I use this model at home more than I use any of my other smokers (and I have some nice ones).
Note: only the door of the cabinet is stainless. All of the other sides are powder coated steel. That being said, I have left this outdoors for years now (protected but not covered) and there is no significant rust or corrosion.
