5 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 55 out of 5 Heavy duty, 10.4.2016

Had a hiccup with getting the supports and bases together, but the owner took care of it. The "Great Flood" in Louisiana, just as I was planning a big goat roast, made all my guest list too busy gutting houses to come to a Labor Day party. So I've only done some big pork and beef roasts in front of the living room fireplace, but the spit handled unbalanced loads with no problem. Best pork roast my husband and I have EVER had, and we are experienced, adventurous cooks. Can't wait to do a whole animal.

After two lambs and one small boar I must say this is a perfect tool for a perfect result. I grilled the lambs the "greek way" by streching the lamb. The belley was filled with herbes, white bread and a bottle of red wine before it was stiched and closed. Best lamb I have ever tasted. The boar was grilled with the legs pointing down, but because of the rpm nothing got burned. Best regards from Norway.

Spitjack rottiserie arrived today threw a huge ribeye roast on for a maiden voyage and the girlfriend and I had THE best bbq of the summer. Quality componenets and seamless operation so far. Best addition to our firepit cooking.

I have to say that I'm not disappointed, the cook went off well and this unit did its job. It could have been a little heavier and it squeaked a bit (metal turning on metal)

I got sick of renting every year so I looked into buying a rotisserie. I do mainly lamb so this was the right size and power. The motor worked well and the materials are strong and durable. It was nice to get all of the trussing gear we needed included too.
